Anamika's story

From no formal schooling to Class 6 in three years.

Anamika lives with her mother, elder sister, and younger brother. Her family had no stable source of income, and financial hardship kept her father from returning home for nearly two years. Her mother continued working as a daily-wage labourer despite declining health, while Anamika's elder sister had to discontinue her education.

When Anamika joined RHSS in 2023, she had never attended school. Through consistent guidance, dedicated teaching, and her own determination, she completed her primary education in three years.

She passed Class 5 with an impressive 84% and cleared the entrance examination for admission to a private school. Today, she attends Class 6 regularly, performs well academically, and continues working towards her dreams.

Sonakshi's story

Bridging three class levels in two years.

Sonakshi is from Bihar, where she had studied up to Class 3. Both of her parents are daily-wage labourers. When her father became seriously ill, the family had to take a loan for medical expenses, placing her education under further financial pressure.

After Sonakshi's maternal uncle connected with RHSS, she enrolled in the education programme. RHSS provided free education along with a school uniform, shoes, socks, books, and the learning materials she needed to continue studying.

With focused academic support and her own perseverance, Sonakshi completed the curriculum for Classes 3, 4, and 5 within two years. She then cleared a private-school entrance examination and secured admission to Class 6.

Sonakshi is now among the top-performing students in her class. Her academic achievements have earned her a tuition-fee concession, free textbooks, and a school uniform.
